Colors and Patterns - Satinettes

 

BLACK LACED: Beak, pale flesh; eyed Very dark brown. Head, neck, breast, body under parts, muffs and the primary flights, 10 x 10, but not less than 5, must be, white. All other feathers in shoulders, wing coverts and tail from a line across rump downwards, to be edged all around with black edging. This edging may be heavy, medium or fine, but must be distinct, even, regular and well defined on a white ground. Shafts of tail feathers, colored to match edging.

 

DUN LACED: Same as black laced, except color to be deep, lustrous metallic dun, dark gun metal.

 

BLUE LACED: Same as black laced, except that feathers in shoulder and wing coverts are edged all around with purple-blue. Pattern may be laced, arrow pointed or ticked, preference to be given in the order named; heavy, medium or fine but in either case must be distinct, even, regular and well defined on a white ground. Tail, dark purple-blue from a line across rump downwards, having a dark blue-black band at lower extremity, upon which should be on each and every father a clear round white spot, moon, or band clearly defined. Shafts of feathers dark to match basic color.

SILVER LACED: Same as blue, except that wing feather edging is a soft silvery gray or gray-black. Tail, gray or light grayish blue with a dark gray or gray-black band marked as in blue.

 

SULPHUR LACED: Same as silver laced, except that ground color in wings (lesser extent in tail spots) should be pale yellowish white, cream or creamy white.

 

BLUE WHITE BAR: (Bluette) Each colored feather of the wings should be a clear solid blue, with two clear cut white bars; edged at lower extremity with black. Tail blue, marked as in blue laced.

 

SILVER WHITE BAR : (Silverette) Same as blue white bar (Bluette) except, shoulder and wing coverts should be pale silver gray, with two clear cut white bars, edged at lower extremity with dark gray or gray-black. Tail gray or gray-blue, marked as in blue laced.

 

BROWN LACED-Laced Tail: Sane as black laced except, edging of wing and tail feathers should be a clear brown - chocolate brown preferred.

 

KHAKI LACED-Laced Tail: Same as brown laced except, edging of feathers should be a clear pale brown (light tan or khaki).

BROWN LACED-Spot Tail (Brunette): Same as blue laced except, edging of wing feathers shall be dark reddish brown, marked as in blue laced. Ground color white. Tail feathers marked as in blue laces but definit'ely reddish brown in color.

 

KHAKI LACED-Spot Tail: Same as brown laced spot tail (brunette) except, feather edging on wings to be a very light gray brown with dark buff or light brownish base on which the white spots appear.

 

BROWN BAR-Spot Tail: Same as blue white bar (Bluette) except, feathers of wings being, brown, preferably a clear light creamy brown, with white bars edged chocolate brown. Tail as in brown laced spot tail (brunette).

 

KHAKI BAR-Spot Tail: Same as brown bar except, wing feather coloring is a clear pale eggshell brown or light khaki with a Yellowish cant. Bars, if edged, dark khaki or brown. Tail as in khaki laced spot tail.

 

RED LACED-Laced Tail: Same as black laced except, each feather of wings and tail edged in clear deep brick red.

 

YELLOW  LACED-Laced Tail: Same as red laced above except, edging of feathers a clear deep yellow.

RED LACED-Spot Tail: Same as blue laced except, clear deep brick red coloring instead of blue.

 

RED BAR-Spot Tail: Same as blue white bar (Bluette) except, clear deep brick red wing feathers, white bars with no edging other than uniform red of wing coverts. Tail as in red laced spot tail.

 

YELLOW BAR-Spot Tail: Same as red bar spot tail except, clear deep yellow color in wings and tail.

 

Vizors

 

  Same as the Satinette except that the head should be solid color, clear cut to a well-defined line running across the neck from bottom of Gullet to back of crest.

 

Dominoes

 

   Beak, black or as dark as possible. Eye, Red; cere, according to color, as in Blondinettes; body markings, white neck, body and thighs, and flights 10 x 10, not less than 5. Colored head marked as in Vizors. Shoulders, wing coverts and tail solid colored from a line across the rump. Legs and feet, bright red and free from feathers. Colors black, blue silver and dun, with or without bars and chequers of same shade.
