N.E.C.C. MASTER
BREEDER POINTS PROGRAM
1. PURPOSE: A way to honor the skills and perseverance
of N.E.C.C. members who are striving to perfect the English
Carrier. The N.E.C.C. is establishing this program so these
people may acquire due recognition through competition. The
honor of Master Breeder is open to all members who earn the
1000 points needed to qualify according to the following
conditions.
2. CONDITIONS:
To achieve the
honor of Master Breeder, an N.E.C.C. member must:
A. Sustain
membership in the N.E.C.C. for a minimum of 3 years.
B. Collect a
total of 1000 points under the N.E.C.C. point schedule.
1)
Points will be recorded by the Master Breeder Coordinator
and will be based on show reports submitted to the
N.E.C.C. Secretary-Treasurer and published in the
Newsletter following the Annual Meet.
2)
All points must be claimed within one year after the date of
the meet.
3)
Points will only be awarded for birds bred by the exhibitor.
4)
There are three designated. N.E.C.C. districts, these
being the Eastern, Central, and Western. Each district is
expected to have at least one, but no more than two approved
points shows a year. The N.E.C.C. will also
sponsor two National Meets a year, one being the National
Young Bird Show and the second being the Annual
Meet held in Des Moines each December. National meets will
be worth more points than district meets and the
point allotment is described later. It is the district
directors’ responsibility to forward all show reports to the
N.E.C.C. Secretary Treasurer so N.E.C.C. members will
receive their due points.
5)
To qualify as an N.E.C.C. meet, there must be no less than
30 birds shown by 3 or more exhibitors.
3. Once
a year, after the Annual Meet, the Secretary will publish
the updated list of all members and how many N.E.C.C. Master
Breeder Points they have achieved. This list will be
supplied to the Secretary by the Master Breeder Coordinator.
The
current Master Breeder Coordinator is
Randall Duvall. Any
questions or disagreements regarding the accuracy of the
list should be addressed to the Master Breeder Coordinator.
The final judgment is to be made by a committee consisting
of the President, the Secretary-Treasurer, and the Master
Breeder Coordinator
