Welcome National Italian Owl and Figurita Club members and Future members. Anyone joining before November 1, 2006 will be considered a Charter Member, send in your dues today. Our goal for the rest of 2006 is to get our membership going forward.

We are working on translating the German Standard for Italian Owls, and Bob Lockhart, a noted artiest and breeder of both breeds is working on a better Pictorial Standard for both breeds. We are not changing anything in the written standards. The German Standard Picture is much better than the French Standard for Italian Owls. The written standard is nearly the same. I have the Figurita Standard from Puerto Rico and the written standard is nearly the same as the NPA Standard, which was taken from the Spanish Standard, but the picture was a photo and not a real good one. As soon as we have what we consider a good standard for both, we will send it out for everyone to look over and view their opinions.

Now that our membership is beginning to grow I will send our dues in to the NPA to become an affiliated club.

We have members from California to Maine and Florida to Wisconsin and parts in between.

I hope to get a bulletin our of sorts in December, Our bulletins will be sent out regularly in February, May, August and November of each year. Any articles, pictures, ads, etc must be sent 30 days in advance of these dates. Ads will be free to members.

Please continue to the questioner and fill it out so we can get a log of information on the membership. Please fill it out in detail and return to me by November 1, 2006. If you already belong or just joining, please fill out the questioner.
