Height & Length: Height 9" to 10" Length 12" to 13" tip of beak to end of tail.

Head and Eyes: Oval and neat, beak resting on crop, bright red or red orange, bull eye acceptable in pure white.

Beak: Medium wattle, dark in solids, fleshing in dilutes.

Crop and Neck: Rounded, well sprung from waist and to be n relation to body.

Body: Strong and firm.

Wings: Tight to body, approximately 3/4" from end of tail.

Feather: Strong, hard in good flying condition.

Legs: Strong appearance, free of feather proportionate to body.

Color: All colors accepted, including grizzles and self white.

Nature: Cheery, lively, responsive to chat.

SERIOUS FAULTS:

  • Too tall, too upright, too low, too long
  • Bull eyes, marked or odd eyes color
  • Stained in solids
  • Small wattle, long beak
  • Small crop, overblowning, distorted, cropbound
  • Skinny, prominent keel, too heavy, or too wide
  • Too long, crossed flights, droopy wings
  • Dirty, dull, broken feather (Parasites Disqualify)
  • Too long, knock knee feathered feet
  • White flights, white markings, uneven bars
  • Too nervous, unresponsive to chat
