Welcome to  J & H Lofts

          My name is Jeff Hankey from the Suburbs of St. Louis Missouri. I raise Voorburg Shield Croppers, Brunner Croppers, Pygmy Pouters, English Carriers and Old German Owls. I also have a few color pigeons, performing pigeons, and rare pouter/cropper breeds which can be seen in the miscellaneous link.

          The Cropper/Pouter Breeds are one my favorites with there wonderful personalities, lively trusting nature and charm. The English Carriers are truly the KING of Pigeons and while they may not be as calm as Old German Owls, Frills or Pouter/Cropper breeds they are no where near as neurotic as some people would have you believe.

          I belong to the NPA, Old German owl Club, American Friends of the Brunner Cropper, Voorburg Shield Cropper Cub, National English Carrier Club, American Pouter Club, SLMPFA, National Classic Old Frill Club and the United Swallow Club.           Here in St. Louis, MO we are fortunate enough to have a local pigeon club the St. Louis Metropolitan Pigeon Fanciers Association (SLMPFA) with members who are very knowledgeable in the care, breeding and showing of various types of pigeons. I would like to thank SLMPFA members Perry Mueller and Gordon Braums for their help in the construction of my first loft.
